An electric cigarette is used in the same fashion a tobacco cigarette is smoked. Once the device is set up meaning, the cartridge, battery, and heating element/vaporizer are in place, simply raise the device to your mouth and inhale.

The "Vapor" takes some getting used to. Granted, its not smoke but it does feel like it. A deeper inhale will yield more vapor or smoke if you will.

Note: You can take a quick puff with a real cigarette but with the electric cigarette, it's recommended to take longer pulls (drags) in order to get the most out of each inhale.

You can treat this vapor the same as tobacco smoke. You can inhale it, pass it to the nose, hold it for a while or exhale it right away.

The difference is you can use the electric cigarette in doors (where allowed). There is no "second hand smoke" because there is no smoke.
